rIoT Technology News

09/09/2016: Event alerts added to the rIoT engine. Users now have the option of generating email or text message alerts directly from the rIoT engine. This would allow the user to utilize the rIoT engine as a stand-alone event engine without a need to connect to a central platform to generate alerts.

09/15/2016: Simulator client stream generator added. Using this new client interface, you can create streams to simulate a process and test the connection to the cloud service. Currently, simulation client can create streams that work in step, ramp or random modes. You can configure interval, minimum and maximum values for each simulation separately.

09/16/2016: User defined REST endpoints added. Using this feature, clients can add new REST endpoints without any programming. rIoT Engine is already tested with Verizon Thingspace endpoint and other cloud service are currently under test. Verizon Thingspace provides an intuitive wizard to create real-time widgets and dashboards in almost no time.

09/29/2016: Power BI end point added. Using configurable REST endpoints, clients can add new REST endpoints without any programming. rIoT Engine is now fully tested with Power BI endpoint where clients can easily visualize and analyze their process data.

12/01/2016: Dynamic Graphics was added. Now, using a free third party editor like InkScape (www.inkscape.org), you can draw your process schematics and animate it with process realtime data.

12/14/2016: GE Predix interface was added. Now, using rIoT Technology, you can create and update realtime data in GE Predix industrial time series database.

12/26/2016: Wonderware Online InSight interface was added. Now, using rIoT Technology, you can create and update realtime data in Wonderware Online InSight Historian.

05/10/2017: DNP3.0 Client interface was added using rIoT Technology OCI. Open Client Interface or OCI, allows the third party users to write their own client drivers and link to the Engine.

09/15/2017: rIoT Sky View web site was created to show rIoT data dynamic graphics, charts, analytics, SoE, tabular data and geographical distribution of the assets: www.riotskyview.com.

10/24/2017: MQTT (mqtt.org) was added. Using MQTT, users can send the same data in smaller packets hence save significantly on data communication cost.

01/26/2018: Announcing Access to Excellence! IIoT partnership program for partners to provide value to their end clients and grow their business

02/27/2018: MODBUS RTU Client interface was added using rIoT Technology OCI. Open Client Interface or OCI, allows the third party users to write their own client drivers and link to the Engine.

03/29/2018: SNMP Client (Manager) interface was added using rIoT Technology OCI. Open Client Interface or OCI, allows the third party users to write their own client drivers and link to the Engine.
